Lenogo Reviewer's Comments

Lenogo DVD Movie to iPod Video Converter allows users to select the start and stop conversion times, choose the video output dimensions and name the output file. You can also instruct Lenogo to convert a DVD then walk away and the program will save the video file and shut down when the conversion is completed.

Despite the seemingly straightforward user interface, we had some trouble locating files and manually adjusting the settings for the DVD conversion. The DVD and video quality is good; however, the video files occasionally displayed some pixilation during playback.

We found some of Lenogo’s menu options confusing. For example, in the Settings menu, the Movie Properties window allows users to name the converted video file and specify the output dimensions, but the Advanced Properties option links to the same Movie Properties window.

Overall, Lenogo is a good DVD to iPod conversion program; however, for software that produces excellent video quality at a lower price, see PQ.
