The PowerPack DVD to iPod conversion software from Dpsof Incorporated includes DVD to iPod Converter and iPod Video Converter programs. PowerPack supports most video formats. If your PC does not support some formats that PowerPack uses, the program will prompt you to download the free Codec Pack All in 1. You can find the link to the codec website in the Help menu under Video Codecs.
You can choose the video output dimensions as well as video and audio settings. In addition, you can easily locate video files by choosing the video output folder.
The conversion speed of the PowerPack software is impressive. The program only spent 10 minutes to convert a 40–minute DVD. Overall, the video quality is good but there is some distortion of the picture.
